The 70-180mm F/2.8 Di III VC VXD G2 (model A065) is the second generation "G2" successor to the highly acclaimed A056. The new model retains its fast F2.8 aperture and 180mm telephoto, while achieving the world's smallest size and lightest weight in its class.

The optical design has been completely reworked to maintain the highest level of mobility. The precision combination of special glass, including XLD and LD lens elements, delivers uncompromising optical performance throughout the zoom range.
